Personal Consultations & Party Plans

Australian Designer Bridal and Formal primarily operate through Personal Consultations.  Simply Book a Personal Consultation with your nearest independent Consultant, and they will be able to assist.

Personal Consultations

The purpose of a Personal Consultation is for your Independent Consultant to visit you in the comfort of your own home, show you dress styles, colours and materials, to determine the best options for you, colour coordinate your attire, and to take your measurements.  Your Consultant will then look after you during the process of your order, and deliver the finished creation to you.

Personal Consultations are usually smaller gatherings with the bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride/groom and flowergirl, if they are all requiring dresses.  Grooms and Pageboys may also attend if they require suits.  Likewise, it is usually just with the formal-goer and parent/guardian.  It is best to only invite those to a Personal Consultation who actually require garments or accessories, so time can be used effectively and efficiently.

Personal Consultations can take approximately 1-2 hours on average depending on the number of people needing to be measured.  Please ensure that you allow enough time so your Consultant isn't rushed.

At this point, there is no fee for Personal Consultations; they are completely FREE.  Measurements will not be released to you for checking however, until you have paid a deposit.

Party Plans

The purpose of a Party Plan is for your Independent Consultant to visit you and your friends/family in the comfort of your own home, show you products (usually smaller items such as lingerie, wedding accessories, shoes, bags and more), play some games, and take orders.  These are usually for large groups, and are a fun and relaxed activity.

NOTE: Party Plans are not offered by all Consultants due to the amount of stock required on-hand, so feel free to ask your closest Consultant if this is offered by them.

Party Plans can take approximately 2 hours on average, so please ensure that you allow enough time.

If you wish to purchase dresses, then you would be best to choose a Personal Consultation and not a Party Plan.

Hen's Night Parties

The purpose of a Hen's Night Party is for your Independent Consultant to visit you and your bridal party, friends and family in the comfort of your own home, show you products (usually smaller items such as lingerie, wedding accessories, shoes, bags and more), play some games, and take orders.  These are usually for large groups, and are a fun and relaxed activity.

NOTE: Hen's Night Parties are not offered by all Consultants due to the amount of stock required on-hand, so feel free to ask your closest Consultant if this is offered by them.

Hen's Night Parties can take approximately 2 hours on average, so please ensure that you allow enough time to participate in all activities.
